寂しがりライオン 吊り橋を渡る
one day a lonely lion makes his way across a rope bridge ["makes his way" is REALLY bad to sing]
サバンナじゃ 皆に 嫌われた
he's hated across all of the whole savannah [accenting slightly janky]
橋の向こうで出会ったヤツは
across the bridge he met them - someone he hadn't seen yet
太陽によく似た姿だった
a tiny one that was just the same gold as the sun ["sun" and "lion" do not have the same number of syllables ugh]

お前は 俺が 怖くないのか?
are you not afraid of me - feared and hated enemy?
逃げないでいてくれるのか?
will you stay here if I ask it of you? [could be translated better...]
吹き抜ける風と共に
in the ebbing breeze as it flowed around him [playing around w/ the first/third person here...]
一度だけ頷いた
he saw the tiny one nod just the once

涙の理由を 知ってるか
do you know the reasons for our tears to flow [phrasing could use work]
俺には分からないが
I don't think I can or will ever know
濡れた頬の 温かさは
but this warmth that I feel as they run down my face [need something better than "as they run down my face"]
恐らく お前が くれたんだ
must be something that you so kindly gave to me
[accidentally rhymed flow/know so now face/me is weird...]

雨の日もライオン 吊り橋を揺らす
one rainy day the lion rocks the bridge as he does always [this is just awkward]
金色の琥珀を 銜えて
a tiny piece of amber gently held in his mouth
今日の土産は いつも無口な
my quiet little buddy, my gift to you today is [need a better word than "buddy"]
お前によく似た色の小石
a rock that shines bright and warm a colour just like yours

響く雷鳴 落ちる吊り橋
striking thunder roaring loud, as the bridge falls to the ground [tenses are all over the place but this is technically right]
痛みに目を覚ませば
when the pain woke me all that I could see [first/third person?]
空は遠く 狭くなった
was the sky so small and ever so far [slightly bad accenting on "ever", but I wanted to put "far" at the end]
お前を泣かすものか
like I would ever make you cry for me [could be better translated]

この元気な声が 聴こえるか
can you hear my call, it's full of all that I've got [drop the second syllable of genki]
この通り 全然平気だぞ
as you hear I'm totally, perfectly fine ["totally" is more like "tot'lly" (2 syllables). tried using "okay" but it doesn't have the same feel?]
濡れた頬の 冷たさなど
all the chill that you'd feel as they run down your face [this is why I need a better phrase to suggest tears]
生涯 お前は 知らなくていい
must be something that you should never ever have to know

止まない雨に 血は流れていく
the rain falls ceaselessly, as my blood flows endlessly ["ceaselessly" isn't great for singing]
もし生まれ変わるなら
were I to be born again then I'd love
お前の様な 姿になれれば
if I could become someone just like you then maybe then [more accurately "something" rather than "someone" but this seems to scan better in english]
愛して貰えるかなぁ
perhaps I'd know what it's like to be loved

もう元気な声は 出ないけど
you can't hear my call, I don't have much left in me ["you can't hear" could be something better]
不思議と寂しくない
but I don't feel quite so lonely right now
濡れた頬の 冷たさなど
all the chill that I'd feel as they ran down my face
恐らく お前が 奪ったんだ
must be something that you kindly took away ["took" not great for singing but ok-ish]

涙の理由を 知ってるか
do you know the reasons for our tears to flow
俺には分からないが
I don't think I can or will ever know
この心の 温かさが
but this warmth that I feel deep inside of my heart
そのまま 答えで 良さそうだ
I think this is the answer that is good to me [phrasing is awkward, could be translated better, but it fits the accenting]

季節は巡り 春が訪れ
the seasons kept on going, 'til once again spring came by [phrasing needs work]
谷底まで 金色の化粧
the base of the ravine painted bright gold like a blush [ravine is pronounced /rəˈviːn/. accenting a bit awkward]
一面に咲く タンポポの花
like carpet the flowers bloomed, the dandelion flowers ["flowers" has 2 different syllable counts...]
ライオンによく似た姿だった
these tiny ones were just the same gold as the lion [REALLY bad accenting]
